A Glimpse of Bohol’s Stunning Landscapes and Diverse Wildlife

Want to meet the Meg? The Otodus Megalodon is considered as the largest shark that ever lived in the world’s oceans. The earliest fossils date to 20 million years ago. The species went extinct and disappeared from the fossil record about 2.6 million years ago.

On display at the National Museum Bohol is the fossil tooth found by Christian Gio Bangalao in Jandig, Maribojoc, Bohol. To satisfy your curiosity, come and visit the Natural History Gallery on October 4, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 5:00pm. There are other flora and fauna species that can only be found in the island province of Bohol! Behold Bohol!
